WHAT WE ENVISION
UNBND is dedicated to the liberation and empowerment of Human Trafficking Survivors until the last modern-day-slave is free.
WHAT WE STRIVE TO DO
UNBND is committed to the abolishment of human-trafficking//slavery through efforts that raise awareness, establish safe-havens, and provide support opportunities to ensure a future for the Survivors of tomorrow that are the victims of today.
what is UNBND?
Florida is one of the three states with the highest documented cases of Human Trafficking. Therefore, it is imperative that UNBND serves as the vehicle to unify those dedicated to the cause and raise awareness to combat this 'crime against humanity'.
UNBND is an active 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization that is tirelessly working to develop relationships beyond the Miami-Dade Community to serve victims here at home and at a distance. In coherence with the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention Against Transnational Organized Crime under Article 9, prevention of trafficking in persons states parties shall endeavor to undertake measures such as research, information and mass media campaigns and social and economic initiatives to prevent and combat trafficking in persons. UNBND embraces the importance of these concerted efforts and the essential role that a sustainable endowment plays in funding interventions that lead to survivorship. It is only with volunteers, benefactors, legislators, journalists, and our 'friends in cause' that together we can end modern-day-slavery.
